How long does a transfer to India take?

USDT (crypto): 2–5 minutes. ACH (bank transfer): 1–2 business days. Wire transfer: 2–4 hours. Debit/credit card: 1–2 days. Recipient gets the money in INR to their bank account or UPI.

Bank transfer (ACH), wire transfer, debit/credit card (1–2 days to clear), and USDT crypto (TRC-20, BEP-20, ERC-20). No PayPal or digital wallets yet.

Can I send USDT directly to an Indian bank account?

Yes. You send USDT, we convert it to INR, and your recipient gets money in their Indian bank account or UPI. They don't need a crypto wallet.

What banks and UPI do you support?

All major Indian banks (ICICI, HDFC, SBI, Axis, etc.) and all UPI IDs (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.). If they have an Indian bank account, Pym works.

Can I schedule future transfers?

Fees & Pricing

What are the fees to send money to India with Pym?

Bank transfers (ACH/wire): $0. Crypto (USDT): $0. Card payments: $1.99–0.3% depending on amount. No hidden fees — exact fee shown before confirming transfer.

Do you charge for receiving money?

No. Receiving transfers is free. Recipients just get the money in their bank account.

How do you make money if transfers are free?

We profit from the USDT/INR arbitrage (the price difference in India's crypto market). Users benefit because USDT trades at a premium in India.

Is there an exchange rate markup?

No. You get better-than-mid-market rates. We don't add any markup — we give you the real rate powered by USDT pricing in India.

What if I send via card?

$1.99 for amounts up to $100. $4.99 for $100–$500. $7.99 for $500–$1K. $0.3% for amounts over $1K. Stripe processes these payments.

Are there limits on how much I can transfer?

First-time users: up to $5,000 per transfer. Limits increase as you verify your account and build transaction history.

📈

Exchange Rates

What USD to INR rate does Pym use?

Better-than-mid-market rates. We price off USDT trading rates in India, which typically beats Google and bank rates by 1–3%.

How often are rates updated?

Every 5 minutes on the live rate page (pym.ink/usd-to-inr-rate-today).

How does Pym compare to Wise, Remitly, PayPal?

Pym: $0 fees + better rates. Wise: ~$4.62 + ~0.6% FX markup. Remitly: $2.99+ + 2–3% FX markup. PayPal: $0 fee but 3–4% hidden FX markup. See live comparison at pym.ink/compare.

Virtual Accounts & Receiving

What is a Pym virtual account?

A virtual account gives you a real European IBAN and a US bank account number (routing + account) you can share with anyone to receive EUR or USD. It is created instantly when you activate — no waiting for a bank to provision it.

How do I get a virtual account / IBAN?

Go to Receive Money (pym.ink/receive), complete activation (verify identity, confirm your account, accept terms), and your virtual account with IBAN and US bank details is generated instantly.

How fast is the virtual account activated?

Instant. Once you finish activation, your IBAN and US account number are ready immediately — you can share them and start receiving within seconds.

Can I receive EUR and USD?

Yes. Your virtual account supports receiving EUR (via SEPA/IBAN) and USD (via US bank account / ACH / wire). Funds are converted and credited to your wallet.

Where do received funds go — my Pym wallet or my own wallet?

You choose. Route payouts to your Pym wallet (custodial — funds are automatically credited as USDT and you can send them to INR in India), or to your own external crypto wallet address (self-custody). The choice is yours at account creation.

Can I route my virtual account payouts to my own external crypto wallet?

Yes. When you create your virtual account (Receive Money → activate), you choose the payout destination: your Pym wallet (custodial — funds auto-credit as USDT, then send to INR in India) OR your own external crypto wallet address (self-custody). Pick "your own wallet" and paste your address — received USD/EUR converts to USDT and lands directly in your wallet. You can change this later by recreating the route.

What happens when someone pays my virtual account?

The EUR/USD received is converted to USDT. If routed to your Pym wallet, it is credited automatically and shows in your balance. If routed to your own wallet, the USDT is sent to your external address.

Can I send the received money to India (INR)?

Yes. If funds land in your Pym wallet, you can send them straight to INR — into an Indian bank account or UPI via our payout partner. The full loop is: get paid in EUR/USD → Pym wallet (USDT) → INR in India.

Is receiving money into a virtual account free?

Yes. Receiving into your virtual account is free. You only pay when you later send the funds out (e.g., to INR), at the normal send fees.

Do I need a crypto wallet to use the virtual account?

No. If you route to your Pym wallet, everything stays in-app — you receive EUR/USD and can pay out to INR without ever touching crypto. Choosing your own external wallet is optional.

Can I withdraw the stablecoin (USDT) after receiving USD into my virtual account?

Yes. When USD lands in your virtual account, it is credited to your Pym wallet as USDT. You can withdraw that USDT to any external crypto wallet (self-custody) on supported networks — you are not locked into sending to India. Alternatively, you can convert it to INR and pay out to an Indian bank account or UPI. The choice is yours.

Can I transfer the received USD to another bank account?

Funds received into your virtual account are credited to your wallet as USDT (a stablecoin, ~$1 each). From there you have two options: (1) withdraw the USDT to any external crypto wallet, or (2) convert it to INR and send it to any Indian bank account or UPI. We do not re-route the original USD to another traditional bank, but you can move the USDT out freely or cash out to India.

Why can't I create a virtual account / why is my virtual account number not generating?

To create a virtual account you must finish 3 quick activation steps on Receive Money (pym.ink/receive): (1) KYC verification must be APPROVED, (2) confirm your account details (one click — no bank info needed), and (3) accept the Terms of Service (auto-completes when you add details). Until all three are done, the Create button stays disabled. If your KYC was rejected, re-verify your ID. Still stuck? Email support@phodata.xyz.

Which countries are supported? Can I use Pym if I live outside India (e.g. Cameroon)?

Receiving is different from cashing out. (1) RECEIVING: you can get a US bank account number (ACH/wire) and a European IBAN (SEPA) to receive USD/EUR from clients anywhere. Whether you're eligible depends on our identity-verification partner (KYC) checking your country and documents during activation — that happens in real time on the Receive Money page, and some countries may not be accepted. (2) CASHING OUT: today Pym only converts received funds into two things — USDT (withdrawable to any external crypto wallet) or INR (to an Indian bank account or UPI). We do NOT yet support cashing out to a traditional bank account outside India (e.g. a Cameroon bank account). We're actively expanding to the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Europe. So if you're outside India and want to withdraw to a local bank, that's not supported yet — but you can hold USDT or send to India.
